Cinco de Mayo in the Kitchen: Mexican Cooking Class
Itโs time to put on your apron and celebrate Cinco de Mayo in a delicious way.
If youโre ready to go beyond the usual guacamole, nachos, and burritos, this class is for you.
In this in-person, hands-on cooking class, youโll learn how to prepare:
- Sopes โthick corn tortillas with a rim layered with frijoles, lettuce, cheese, and cream
- Tomatillo Guacamoleย โ a fresh and tangy twist on the classic
- Arroz con Leche (Rice with Milk)- to finish on a sweet note

No experience needed. This class is suitable for both meat lovers and vegetarians.
Born and raised in Mexico City, Iโll be sharing some tips I grew up withโso you can recreate these dishes at home with confidence.
You can take your food home or stay and enjoy it with the group at the end of classโbecause at the end of the day, itโs all about sharing a moment around food.
